This is an opportunity for those who have done their work to
give themselves permission to celebrate themselves on their
journey and to allow for a pause and acceptance of self.
This is an exploration into our chakra centers
while aligning with Mother Earth and her
Sacred Medicine to nourish us, guide us, and ground us into our true nature.

Welcome to El Yunque Paradise, Our Retreat Home for 4 days! We offer a one-of-a-kind experience of comfort, fun, and peace in your own private villa within El Yunque National Forest. This rainforest villa has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. At El Yunque Paradise, you will experience firsthand the magnificent beauty, sounds, scents, colors, and solitude of the tropical rainforest.

Hike into El Yunque
We will journey into the heart of the rainforest experiencing some of it's peaks, rivers, and waterfalls. This will be a moderate hike, nothing that will tax you but will get your heart pumping. During this time, you will be asked to get quiet and observe with all of your senses the nature spirits all around you.
Sound Journey Poolside
Sound has the capacity to activate, cleanse, and balance our energy centers. This time, with a twist. You will partake in a water sound bath, allowing yourself to float as we use crystal and tibetan singing bowls to help clear and balance your chakra centers.
Reiki in the River
We will be working with all the elements in this retreat experience, but particularly with water and earth.
Many times we feel depleted because our energy bodies need some much needed love and attention. So we will be going into the rivers of the rainforest to move into the healing practice of Reiki to release and heavy or unwanted energy so you come into more balance and harmony.
Earth Mama Yoga Practice
Because what's a retreat without yoga!
This practice is very intentional as we will focus on grounding ourselves to earth energy in order to connect with our center, our core.
So bring your mat and comfortable yoga gear as we practice surrounded by abundant earth energy.
Let's Not Forget About the Food Therapy...
Our private chef loves to refer to her work as food therapy because of the healing properties of food. So be prepared to not only be nourished spiitually but physically as well.
Our retreat philosophy values intimacy, authenticity and respect for the land, the culture, and her people. Therefore, we move in this space with much reverence as we only invite 5 souls into the container prepared to offer back to the land.

Katherine Searcy, MDiv., LICSW is a licensed psychotherapist, intuitive energy healer, Usui Reiki Master, and visionary life coach specializing in the areas of spiritual and emotional health.
She has been in the healing and helping profession for over 10 years as a chaplain and social worker, offering emotional and spiritual modalities to help clients and families at the most vulnerable stages in their lives.
She translated this experience to a mind body spirit approach to helping clients overcome lifelong challenges, remove blocks, and experience a level of freedom to live their best possible life.
Katherine loves creating healing spaces for women of color to release into the fullness of their personal power and tap into their feminine energy in safe and supportive ways.

When and Where is the Retreat?
This retreat will be held on June 20-23, 2024 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico which is about 30 mins away from the San Juan Airport (SJU). Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory; therefore, a passport is not required.

When do I have to sign up by?
This is first come, first serve so the sooner the better since we only have 5 spots available for this retreat experience. You're spot is secured once you have placed your deposit.
What is the investment?
Paid in Full price for a single room is 2222.00. Financing is available via Affirm, Klarna, AfterPay.
Payment plan options are available: $666 deposit, 4 payments of $390.
Paid in Full price for our shared room is $1875.00
Payment plan options are available: $666 deposit, 4 payments of $305.
If you are interested in the pay in full option, then you can join in anytime 4 weeks prior to the retreat date as long as there is still space.
Is there anything not included in the retreat enrollment?
The only things NOT included in retreat enrollment is your air travel and passport fees. One airport transfer is included to the retreat villa and back to the airport.
Please note, we will be flying into Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU). We will need to know your arrival time as one shuttle will depart San Juan's airport to bring you to the resort at a designated time (tbd based on majority attendees arrival). If you land after shuttle departure, you must arrange your own transportation from the airport to the retreat location.
**A list of available transportation services will be provided for you upon enrollment.
Can I book a private room?
Yes, there are options for private and shared rooms in the retreat villa.
What happens if the retreat is cancelled due to unforeseen events?
If some out of the ordinary disaster happens (ie. global pandemic travel restrictions) and the retreat can no longer take place at it's scheduled date, we will simply reschedule the retreat for a later time.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Deep Breath Healing LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 60 days before departure except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of Deep Breath Healing LLC control.
Cancellation by Participant: Please be sure you want to attend. While we understand that life happens, we cannot refund or transfer any deposits for our retreats. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and excursions. In order to protect yourself, purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.
Cancellation by Deep Breath Healing LLC: We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure, due to natural disasters, terrorism, political instability, COVID-19, or other external events that make it no longer viable to operate the planned retreat. If your trip is canceled, we will notify you immediately and provide instructions for the next steps. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, credits will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please wait to book your airline ticket until the retreat has been confirmed with the minimum number of participants. You will be notified via email. A minimum number of participants is required in order for the retreat to run. In the event that we cancel a retreat due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be credited all retreat costs paid to Deep Breath Healing LLC. To help you recover any potential losses, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.
