Your Initiation in Sacred Waters....
Our Mountain Villa is nestled in the beautiful El Yunque Rainforest. This is a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath retreat space with private deck and pool. What you will have is amazing views as we tap into the energy of elevation and expansion! There are 2 private rooms and 1 shared room available.
The energy of Puerto Rico is one of spiritual transformation so this space will give you everything you need to create your Big Audacious Dreams!
Choose Your own Adventure Day
Sagittarians love to do ALL the Things! So we are taking it old school and creating our own Choose Your Own Adventure Experience. You will have an opportunity to create a day within the retreat based on your own desires and needs. You can choose to zipline through the rainforest, go on an ATV adventure, horseback riding along the beach, jet skiing, and do something super unique to Puerto Rico. Kayak at night through the bioluminescent bay and see mother nature in her full glow!

Fire of Transformation Breathwork Practice
Transformational breathing involves rapid breathwork. The results can feel like a rebirth.
Transformational breathing is an active form of meditation whereby the breath is manipulated mechanically at a rapid rate. Instead of starting out slowly with the intention of calming your body and mind through the breath—as one does when practicing yoga or meditation—transformational breathing starts with fast breathing to elicit a bodily response. This response can range from unadulterated laughter to a wave of tears, to complete elation. Whatever it is, through this 4-hour practice you will receive exactly what your soul intends to take you to expanded states of consciousness.
Natal Chart Readings/Planetary Energy Support
We can't have an astrology based retreat without playing around with this beautiful system of timing and self awareness. We will have an astrologer on hand (who is also a Sag Rising) to support us in mapping out our 2024 by highlighting the important transits that will impact our Sag energy as well as speak to the unique aspects of your planetary alignment.
Cacao Ceremony
Is an opportunity to connect to yourself and open your heart. Cacao was used centuries ago by the Mesoamerican culture and considered a sacred medicinal plant, the elixir of Gods.
In a cacao ceremony, we drink and eat this plant medicine to support our healing & growth while we hear histories and enjoy music. Helps to cultivate greater self-love, awareness, expansion of our consciousness, your understanding of who you are, release old patterns and traumas, or just move into a more self-confident space.
Floating Sound Bath
Sound has the capacity to activate, cleanse, and balance our energy centers. This time, with a twist. You will partake in a water sound bath, allowing yourself to float as we use crystal and tibetan singing bowls to help clear and balance your chakra centers.
Waterfall Excursion and Photoshoot
Our day excursion will land us at the beautiful waterfalls of Ganzalandia on the west side of the island. Get ready to jump and experience your personalized photoshoot to treasure this memory.
Sag Rising Fire Ceremony
We're Sagittarians, we have to celebrate with fire. So, we will move beachside to dance, sing, drum, and witness our fire dancer in action right where the river meets the ocean.

Katherine Searcy, MDiv., LICSW is a licensed psychotherapist, intuitive energy healer, Usui Reiki Master, and visionary life coach specializing in the areas of spiritual and emotional health. Most importantly, she is a Double Cancer, Sag Rising!
She has been in the healing and helping profession for over 10 years as a chaplain and social worker, offering emotional and spiritual modalities to help clients and families at the most vulnerable stages in their lives.
She translated this experience to a mind body spirit approach to helping clients overcome lifelong challenges, remove blocks, and experience a level of freedom to live their best possible life.
Katherine loves creating healing spaces for women of color to release into the fullness of their personal power and tap into their feminine energy in safe and supportive ways.
Frequently Asked Questions
When and Where is the Retreat?
This retreat will be held December 4-10, 2023 in Luquillo, Puerto Rico which is 35 mins away from San Juan. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory so a passport is NOT required for entry. You simply need your REAL ID.

When do I have to sign up by?
The sooner, the better as there is limited capacity since we like to keep our retreat experiences intimate and exclusive.
Paid in full price is $4000. Payment plans are available for up to 36 months with multiple financing options. Deposit of $650 is required to reserve your spot.
If you are interested in the pay in full option, then you can join in anytime 4 weeks prior to the retreat date as long as there is still space.
Is there anything not included in the retreat enrollment?
The only things NOT included in retreat enrollment is your air travel and passport fees. One airport transfer is included to the retreat villa and back to the airport.
Please note, we will be flying into Luiz Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We will need to know your arrival time as one shuttle will depart San Juan's airport to bring you to the resort at a designated time (tbd based on majority attendees arrival). If you land after shuttle departure, you must arrange your own transportation from the airport to the retreat location.
**A list of available transportation services will be provided for you upon enrollment.
Can I book a private room?
Yes, there are options for private and shared rooms in the retreat villa.
What happens if the retreat is cancelled due to unforeseen events?
If some out of the ordinary disaster happens (ie. global pandemic travel restrictions) and the retreat can no longer take place at it's scheduled date, we will simply reschedule the retreat for a later time.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Deep Breath Healing LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 60 days before departure except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of Deep Breath Healing LLC control.
Cancellation by Participant: Please be sure you want to attend. While we understand that life happens, we cannot refund or transfer any deposits for our retreats. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and excursions. In order to protect yourself, purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.
Cancellation by Deep Breath Healing LLC: We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure, due to natural disasters, terrorism, political instability, COVID-19, or other external events that make it no longer viable to operate the planned retreat. If your trip is canceled, we will notify you immediately and provide instructions for the next steps. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, credits will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please wait to book your airline ticket until the retreat has been confirmed with the minimum number of participants. You will be notified via email. A minimum number of participants is required in order for the retreat to run. In the event that we cancel a retreat due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be credited all retreat costs paid to Deep Breath Healing LLC. To help you recover any potential losses, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.
